UV 10 Commandments

  1. Adapt the level of sun protection to the location exposure (tropics, glacier, boat)
  2. Protect specifically the sensitive areas: face, beauty spots, sun spots, fever blister (herpes labialis) and bare neck
  3. Some drugs are photosensitive: consult your GP or pharmacist for advice
  4. Don’t expose to sun children less than 3 years old (particularly babies). Even in the shade, hot flushes are possible
  5. Re-apply sun care cream frequently and generously, specifically after swimming, in case of excess of perspiration or on very sensitive skins.
  6. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and exposure between 12 to 15 p.m..
  7. Take care of sun reflexion (snow, see, sand) which intensifies the power of UV rays
  8. To avoid sun spots, don’t apply neither perfume nor deodorant before sun exposure. If you are pregnant, don’t expose yourself to sun without a high protection to prevent the pregnancy mask
  9. Drink water regularly to avoid the dehydration risks. Hat, tee shirt and sunglasses are the best natural protection
  10. Overexposure to sun is dangerous for your health
